Prophet Tell The Wives And Daughters,
And The Believing Women,
That They Should Cast Their Outer Garments
Over Their persons (When Abroad):
That is Most Convenient That They Should Be
Known (As Such) And Not Molested
And ALLAH Is On Forgiving, Most Merciful

      (SURA   AHZAAB   33:59)

Two little girls playing in the sun
one wore a scarf, the other wore none.
“Why do you wear a scarf?” asked the one without,
the other little girl said without a doubt
“Allah loves me to cover my hair
so that little boys won’t stand and stare,
when I grow up what I really want to be
is a well dressed Muslim lady like my pretty Mummy.”

Hijab Story of a Sister

“As World Hijab Day is near, I decided to share my story with you all. I call myself Farah as I wish to change my name to this inshaa’Allah. I am 16, live in PA, USA. I will be talking with PBS soon about this. I am also a recent revert, Alhamdulillah!

I have never been against Islam, even when everyone else I knew, were. I was raised as a Christian, even when I was a Christian, I thought at a young age, hijab was beautiful and modest. I’d wear it in my house in secret because I always felt beautiful. In the past year or so, I’ve been wearing around my house and recently I had told my mother I was Muslim, also, wanted to wear the hijab. Every time I wear it, I feel safe and modest. I know I’m pleasing God and that’s all I care about. I am a non-hijabi Muslim for now, but one day inshaa’Allah I will have the confidence to face the world and its prejudicial views on Islam.

Hijab does not oppress, restrict me or hold me back. It is my symbol of freedom. Subhan’Allah. I do not follow the world, but rather my loving and merciful God. I encourage women worldwide to try it on, regardless of religious beliefs. Bless you all”- Farah (PA, USA)
